Srm Training System On Twitter: Srmx Training Software For Mac

The software lies within Home & Hobby Tools, more precisely Healthcare & Fitness. The actual developer of the free program is SRM. SRMX Analysis software allows you to download and display your training data from SRM PowerControl devices.

Tetonrider wrote:Just guessing here.are you using distance based on a sensor? If so, perhaps your wheel size is set too high (manually), and Strava is calculating distance based on the actual GPS data. Thanks for your reply. I have no ANT+ sensor for speed. I only use GPS.hm. Could be that there was 1 errant data point (i literally just had this happen yesterday when i traveled 4h to a race--as i was acquiring a signal i got an errant GPS point a few miles away, which then corrected immediately).

The SRM software and WKO4 didn't pick it up, but strava did. I didn't test SRMX v DA, though. Just a thought. Give SRM a call! I'm really starting to doubt the product, its really hard to blame Strava/WKO when SRMX read the file to 138KM and all most af negative margin of 4,7 km's I really dont know what to say - SRM, if you read this(you should), please make this fantastic device more (much more) accurate. I have to say, SRM have a very bad support, at least in the Nordics. I haven't heard back from them, not a single time on my many questions regarding the product. The PC8 looks og work fantastic really, but if you can't trust the data output, I think the real point fade a way. Back to Garmin i guess - Unfortunately! I had a quick look at this using the.fit SDK Tools which convert the file into an excel file (well, csv).

Basically, the file reports its length as 142680.84m, so 142.68 km. Each record on the file (i.e. One second sample) shows the accumulated distance, again totalling out at 142680m.

My guess would be that some of the sites recalculate the distance based on the GPS co-ordinates for each record, instead of using the distance from the records, and manage to get a slightly different answer. I think someone already pointed out this possibility. The difference is about 3%, which would be within the expected accuracy of GPS. Which distance is correct?

Difficult to tell - maybe try mapping the route with something like and see what that gives. Stuart === iSMARTtrain - Mac training software for Garmin, SRM, PowerTap & Polar. I fully understand that Strava/TP recalculate the distance. The interesting part is, why do SRMX do the same?
